4 Things A Great Facial Skin Care Routine Should Have

All of us want to have a pretty face. One thing that a pretty face needs is a great facial skin. If you want to have a pretty face with a healthy glow, you need to spend some time and money on it. Of course, you will need to shell out some money to avail of professional skin care products like DDF skin care. In addition to that, you will need some time to do your research and get to know more about the five processes that are involved in a great facial skin care regimen. With that in mind, here is the information that you need in terms of caring for your face.

Cleanse
The face is exposed to the pollution and dirt of the world. If you wish to make your skin glow healthy, then it is a must that you remove the contaminants, dirt as well as the extra oil that are damaging your skin. This can be done with the use of a cleansing cream. Apply this on the parts of your neck and face. Massage the cream gently into the skin by using gentle and upward strokes. Allow it to settle then pat your face dry with the use of a tissue or a cloth. Avoid rubbing at all costs. The rule of the thumb is to clean your skin twice a day-- once in the morning and once in the evening before you sleep.

Tone
When you cleanse your face properly, it can be a great substitute for toning. However, this extra step will remove any extra dirt, grime or cleanser in your face. Keep in mind that this should not be done on a daily basis. You can opt for skin toning two to three times a week. This is best done once your skin has been exposed to harmful chemicals and conditions.

Exfoliate
This is also optional but is highly recommended if you wish to avoid having to deal with blackheads and pimples since this extra step allows you to get rid of the dead skin cells that may clog your pores. When you exfoliate, you are allowing your skin to replenish for every three weeks. This should also be done twice or thrice a week only.

Moisturize
This is a very vital step of the facial skin care process. When you moisturize, you are preventing your skin from drying up. When you have dry skin, you will look old and weary and no one wants that. When your skin is dry, it will be easy for the epidermis to break and this may result to higher number of skin cells.

A lot of women are already aware of these four elements of a good facial skin care. However, the importance of these processes should not be overlooked as all the processes work hand in hand with each other. Never skip any of these and ensure that you are using a high quality professional skin care product like DDF skincare. With the right knowledge and the right ammunition, your face will surely be on its way to beauty and youthful glow.

5 Easy Hairstyles for Work

Looking good every day is pretty hard. Sometimes you wake up in the morning and you just don’t have it in you to spend time doing your hair. This is fair, and here are a few easy ways to deal with that problem.

Loop Ponytail

This is simple, five minute and above all manageable hairstyle that can give you a clean cut look and make it look like you went the extra mile on a simple hairstyle First spray your hair smooth with hairspray, then pull your hair back into a ponytail and secure it with elastic. Use your fingers to separate your hair above elastic and create a hole that is centred above it. Pull the ponytail through the hole and pull it taut. Smart, simple, professional.

DIY Ballerina Bun

If you need to look elegant and like you really tried with your hair without wasting the effort this is a hairstyle that really makes it look like you care. Flip your hair into a high ponytail, use a holder to secure. Use a smoothing brush to tease your hair to give the illusion of volume, alternately if you don’t have the hair volume a BioTHIK treatment may be worth considering. Next, twist your hair and wrap it around the base to create the shape. Secure this with bobby pins until you can shake your head without slipping. Then just smooth the hair down.

Bubble Ponytail

This will give a bouncy excitable and cheerful image to a hairstyle and will make you seem lively and fully energized. First pull your hair into a ponytail, tease out the length, starting at the hair tie. Then tie another elastic band around the ponytail about a third of the way down from the base, then another about two thirds of the way down. Finally slide the elastic bands toward the base. This should bunch things up and create bubbles.

Chignon Twist

A twisted chignon can pull of an elegant look and project a simple no-fuss attitude that will make you look intense and focused. First, get your hair straight and tie a low ponytail. Then twist the ponytail, if you’re feeling energetic divide it into separate sections and wrap them around each other. Then secure them with another hair band. Curl the twisted hair around the base of the ponytail. Once there’s a full circle around the base, pin the other end of the ponytail to your head.

Knot Ponytail

This is another cool twist on a basic ponytail that you don’t’ have to wrestle with. Divide your hair in half and tie it in a double knot. Secure the knotted ponytail with an elastic band and a couple of pins, then just tease the end, done and dusted no fuss muss and only two minutes work.

So if you’re running late, or you just don’t feel like really fixing your hair on the way out of the door, this is a quick way to get things done.

4 Ways To Colour Your Hair Without Using Chemicals

4 Ways To Colour Your Hair Without Using Chemicals

Natural Hair Dye Methods

Everybody changes their hair colour now and again, often accompanied by a new haircut, or done simply to cover some unwanted grey or white hairs. Many people do not exactly know the chemicals used in hair dyes, however nobody really wants to use things that can be damaging to their health.

Why Should You Use Natural Hair Dye

Using natural hair dye is the safest way to colour your hair without receiving harmful effects such as allergic reactions, respiratory disorders, and even cancer. Some hair dyes can be marked ‘natural’, but do in fact contain harmful chemicals such as ammonia, peroxide, resorcinol, and even PPD. PDD contains a very harmful toxin that can cause an allergic reaction.

How Does Natural Hair Dye Work?

Natural hair dyes work progressively, over a period of time, although some more potent hair dyes, such as walnuts and coffee, can work almost immediately. Natural hair dyes usually need to be used more than once to obtain a consistent desired result, although some ingredients can work almost immediately.

Options For Natural Hair Dye

There are a couple of options useful for naturally dyeing your hair, most of which work quite well. These include lemons, walnuts, coffee, and vegetable juice.

    • Lemons help to lighten or add highlights to hair, and are used an effective natural bleach. It works more slowly for people with darker hair, however its effectiveness can be intensified by exposing hair to sunlight.

    • The use of walnuts is a more popular way to colour hair. By using walnut hulls and walnut powders, you are able to dye your hair quite easily. Crush walnut hulls down and coat them with boiling water, leaving them for three days. Alternatively, add a few tablespoons of black walnut powder, into boiled water. To achieve a darker colour, allow the mixture to soak for a couple of hours longer than you usually would.

    • Coffee is a more generally used to darken the hair. The effect is created by allowing the coffee to seep into your hair and then rinsing or dipping certain parts of your hair you wish to darken.

Natural juices such as beet and carrot can be used to add red tints to your hair colour.?

They work separately or together, and as often as necessary to reach the colour you want. Beet juice hair dye is a great way to create a strawberry blonde colour, and works more effectively after leaving the dye in for around 60 minutes.

Testing Natural Hair Dyes

Before testing out any of these natural hair dyes, it is advisable to test one, or all of them, on a small section or simple strand of your hair. Make sure you find out how your natural hair dye will react with a previously used chemical hair dye, in case of a bad reaction.

If you're more about just your natural hair colour but can't seem to get it thick enough or full enough check out websites like transitionhair.com.au or other hair loss clinics to regain that mane and if you want to change colours stick with all these natural hair colours to keep your hair healthy.

Four Ways To Remove Excess Facial Hair

Excess facial hair can be quite a nuisance and to make it even more annoying, it's common among young and old women. Hormonal imbalances and genetics are often to blame. Whatever the cause may be, there is a need to get rid of them (unless you want an eyebrow stitch or a lip mustache).

There are several ways to remove excess facial hair. With certain methods, there is a chance that, over time, the hair growth may decrease or even stop altogether.

4 methods to remove excess facial hair

Hair Removal Creams
Hair removal creams are a very basic way to remove excess hair on face. You apply one over the area with excess hairs, let the cream remain on the skin for a specified number of minutes (five to ten minutes at most) and then remove it.

This removes hairs in a pain free manner, but the solution may last no more than two to five days at the most because hairs can grow back soon. Also, certain creams can have harsh chemicals in them that can cause damage to your skin, so it is advisable that you get a cream from a reputed company and test it on a small area of your skin before applying it on the whole.

Cosmetic Laser Surgery
This is a more long lasting option for you to try. Cosmetic laser surgery removes hair and incapacitates hair follicles, which stops them from letting the hair grow back.

However, it can have limitations when it comes to safety of equipment. Companies relying on Medlaser Depot or any other certified supplier are going to be a better option. This is because most of their equipment comes from suppliers who are aware about progression of technology, and supply well-rounded equipment that are safe to use on the patient.

Threading
This method involves using a thread to pluck out individual hair. The pain level on this solution is medium to high; however, it does the job quite well. Threading will ensure a removal of hair and keep your skin smooth and hairless for up to four to six weeks.

Threading involves no chemical usage or any other aspect to affect your skin negatively. The only thing to look out for is some redness on the skin that fades after a few minutes.

Waxing
Waxing is a common way of removing facial or even body hairs. This way of hair removal is one service that is popularly available at most salons. You can also try this method on your own with waxing kits.

Waxing kit is preferred as the frugal option as salon waxing services can be expensive. However, you have to be a little cautious in its use as wax can hurt your skin if used along with a strong exfoliator.

Choosing a method that suits you best is a process of trial and error. It also requires for you to act according to the skin type you have. If you know your skin is sensitive, then it's probably best to steer away from hair removal creams and perhaps even waxing.

Top Tips for Wearing Contact Lenses Safely

You know you need to be careful while wearing your contact lenses, but you've seen your friends do some things with their lenses that seem a little risky. Should you wear your lenses for several days in a row? Can you rinse the lenses with tap water? Is it safe to use saline to store the lenses? Before you go messing around with your eyes, make sure you're being safe. Your eyes are worth it.

How To Store Lenses
Contact lenses are pretty robust, but they do need to be cleaned and disinfected now and then. The cleaning schedule really depends on the type of contacts you have and your doctor's recommendations for your specific eyes. Some eyes are more sensitive than others and cannot tolerate multi-day wearings. Some lenses just aren't designed to be worn more than a day without cleaning either.

When storing lenses, always use a recommended cleaning and storage solution kit. Each manufacturer has one that they've designed their lenses to be compatible with. Use that as a guide. Companies like  Next Day Lenses sell a wide range of solutions so you shouldn't have trouble finding an online retailer to sell you solutions at discounted prices - you'll need a lot of this stuff so try to get the best deal you can find.

 How To Clean Lenses
Cleaning lenses can be easy or laborious, depending on the type of lens you have. Most soft contacts are simple to clean. There's typically a "rub and rise" step, followed by a disinfection step lasting several hours. Discard and replace the solution each time you take your lenses out to be cleaned and disinfected.

Clean the lens case with solution to remove any debris and prevent contamination. Finally, while it's tempting to hang onto expired solutions, this is a bad idea. Toss it, and make sure you use all solutions by the expiry date.

Which Solutions To Use
Many lenses allow you to get away with a multipurpose solution for cleaning, storage, and disinfection. This is typical with soft contacts. However, some lenses require a special solution, like a hydrogen peroxide solution. These solutions seriously irritate the eye, so they also come with a neutralising tab or disc that must be placed in the solution before you rinse them and put them in.

Hard contacts often require special drops or tabs. Oddly, hard contacts are the easiest to clean. Simply drop the lens into the solution and drop a tab in with the lens. The tab does all the work.

Under no circumstance should you wet your lenses with your own saliva, re-use solution (even for storage), wear lenses that you've left in your case for more than seven days without cleaning and re-disinfecting them, or use any eye drops not compatible with your specific lenses. Doing so may injure your eye or damage the lens.

Using Tap Water
Tap water is commonly used to rinse lenses, even though this practice is highly unsafe. Why? Because tap water often contains a common amoeba that can infect the eye. Once it's in there, it multiplies, causing irritation. Water also contains chlorine and chloramines which are meant to disinfect the water, making it safe from pathogens. The chlorine, however, can seriously irritate the eye. Only use approved saline solution for rinsing.

Importance of Using Organic Skin Care Products

Importance of Using Organic Skin Care ProductsWhen a multitude of organic beauty products started showing up on store shelves a few years ago, one might have thought that it was just a trend. But, experts and users alike are still faithfully searching out and using the best organic products, and for good reason. One of the obvious reasons organic skin care products are beneficial is that they are better for the environment, but the most appealing reason to purchase them for many consumers is that they are much healthier for your skin than other traditional alternatives. Most people don’t like the idea of slathering products laden with chemicals and synthetic substances over their body. Skin acts as a sponge with many of the things that are put on it. It is easy to see why harmful substances used on the skin can cause both external and internal problems.

Harmful Ingredients

If the majority of ingredients on a product’s label are difficult to pronounce, it is probably not composed of natural ingredients. Many substances that are believed to be linked to cancer are used in common products, which can also cause inflammation, irritation, and dryness, among other negative effects. There have even been products imported to America from other countries that contain mercury, which is poisonous to the human body. Although those products are not approved by the FDA, they have still made their way into many households. The body might have no problem absorbing harmful ingredients, but it might not be able to excrete them before they cause damage.

Check the Label

The best way to avoid products that contain unnatural ingredients is to only use completely organic skin care products. Look for products that are certified by the USDA as organic. There are skin care lines that are gluten free and vegan as well. When you search the label for these designations, you can also see which natural substances it contains. Ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, acai berry, jojoba oil, and many others each have their own benefits. When you use these natural ingredients on your skin, it will become soft and revitalized in the most natural way possible.

How to Care for False Lashes

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="594"]How to Care for False Lashes image via stylebistro.com[/caption]

False eyelashes can help give you the long, full lashes that you have always wanted. However, the good ones do not usually come too cheap, and a false lash that is not well taken care of can cause a lot of discomfort in your eyes. When you order eyelashes from www.longlashesonline.com/home.html, you should know how to properly take care of them and make them last as long as possible.

Fake Eyelash Care

When you order lashes, one of the most important decisions is which lashes to get. The quality of lashes that you order will determine how good they look and how long they will last. It is worth it to spend a bit more on lashes that will look natural while giving you the lashes that you want. Once you get them and put them on with care, you need to do some things to make sure that they look good for a long time and last longer. First, try to avoid wearing mascara on your fake lashes. Hopefully, the lashes should be dark and full enough that you do not feel the need to wear mascara. If you absolutely do, then you should buy mascara that is made specially for fake lashes. This will keep them from drying up and building gook on them that you can’t get off.

Whenever you remove or clean the lashes, get makeup remover that is oil free. The oils will damage the lashes over time, so the oil-free remover is the best choice. There are a lot of options out there, so find a product that is known to work well. There are oils on your hand as well, so try to avoid touching them as much as possible. Touching them may also bend them in unnatural ways, which doesn’t look good and can cause eye pain.

Removing Lashes

Removing lashes  from www.longlashesonline.com/home.html can be very painful if you don’t know what you are doing. Either go to a salon and have a professional do it for you, or look online to see the best way to safely remove your lashes. Once you know how, it is easy to do.

Using Coloured Contact Lenses in Fashion

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500"]Celebrities wearing contact lenses image via: http://missosology.info[/caption]

Coloured contact lenses might have had their start in the consciousness of most of us in thrillers, as the protagonist popped blue lenses over their brown eyes, and dyed their hair in the poor light of a motel bathroom. However, coloured contact lenses have now stepped outside the confines of crime fiction, and become an affordable way to change your look - whether that's subtle or startling is entirely up to you!

Coloured contact lenses are now readily available both from high street opticians and online retailers such as www.visiondirect.co.uk, in both prescription and purely cosmetic variants. It may be that you're looking for a subtle change in eye colour for a special occasion, especially if there's a good chance you will be photographed close up, and provide long-lasting memories of happy family occasions. Subtle, natural eye colour changes are usually more successful if you choose a colour closer to your own, as the colour of your iris will inform the result - for example, blues and greys can become vivid greens or turquoise, and hazel deepens into a rich purple.

That is not the case, however, with the kind of effect lenses favoured by clubbers, or frequently used in film and television for special effects. You'll no doubt be familiar with the milky white eyes of a zombie - you'll have a far more attractive result with your fashion lenses, but the level of opacity is the same. Be aware that your vision won't necessarily be very clear, so don't drive when wearing these lenses. In terms of the effect you can achieve, the sky is the limit - patterns and colours to match your clothes, or animal effects for fancy dress, fashion coloured contact lenses can produce some startling effects.

Finally, a word about eye safety - not everyone can tolerate contact lenses, and not everyone can tolerate all types of contact lenses; for the sake of your eye health, please visit an optician for a full eye health check and test before you purchase any coloured contact lenses online, and make sure that purchases are made through a reputable, established retailer. If you don't require prescription lenses - or even if you do - limit your wear of effect lenses, and make sure that you don't have them in for more than a few hours at a time. You only get one pair of eyes - look after them.

Create Healthy Skin and a Happy Face

Having healthy skin is a priority for many people. You are one of those people and you take great pride in the fact that you are able to maintain clear, clean, healthy skin using only organic skin care products. You are aware of the junk that is put into some products used to care for your skin and you don’t want to subject your body to the artificial, and sometimes dangerous, ingredients. You also care about the planet you live on and the impact that these unnecessary ingredients have on Mother Earth as well.
oragnic skin care

Facial Cleansing

Let’s be honest here, the skin you care about most is your face, right? Yes, it is important to take care of every inch of your beautiful skin, but you worry most about your face. You don’t want wrinkles, you could do without blemishes, and age spots be gone! You can use an organic face cleanser daily that both cleans and gently exfoliates. It revives the pores of your skin and also has tiny little bacteria fighting soldiers built in to keep those pimples at bay. Okay, not actual soldiers, but they do the work of a whole tiny army.Your skin will be glowing gloriously when you are finished and you will feel refreshed.

Facial Moisturizing

After you have given your skin a refreshing wash and exfoliation, you need to replace the moisture taken away by cleansing. No matter your skin type you need to have the basics of moisturizing. Those basics include revitalizing your facial tissues and strengthening the collagen. Collagen is what gives your face lift and fullness and it can decrease with age. It gets tired and you need to give it the boost it needs. It is kind of like a pep club for your skin. Go team!

It also helps to have a moisturizer that contains all-natural antioxidant boosters. These antioxidants are absorbed into your skin and act to break down free-radicals. Free-radicals lead to premature aging, which you definitely want to avoid. There are other organic skin care products that can aid in healthy skin, but cleansing and moisturizing are the basics you want to start with.

Natural Lip Exfoliator

Our lips also needs a lot of care just like our skin. Some lips can be chapped, dry and flaky due to too much use of lipstick and extreme cold weather. Exfoliating is one of the best way to remove dead skin and keep it from being healthy and kissable.

We really don’t need to buy expensive lip exfoliator for we can use items that we can see on our pantry. I found this diagram online and it says that we need to mix:
1 part sugar
1 part honey
1 part olive oil

When the mix is ready we can already use it to exfoliate our lips when needed to get rid of the dead skin.

Choosing Nail Polish To Match Your Mood

swirly purple konad nail art

It is the right season when you can see trendy females with fashion at their toes and style at their fingertips – it is the season for pedicures and manicures. That is when most women show interest in buying a few new bottles of nail polish in shades that would say a lot about their personalities and mood. It does not really matter if you are a salon regular, a do-it-yourselfer, or somewhere in the middle, there is a diverse range of new tricks, colours and trends to entice you.

Picking the Right Shade

Nail polish has always been a popular way to change your look or simply enhance your outfit. However, you need to take some care when selecting a shade because it can reveal a lot about your personality and mood. For instance, if you meet a woman with nail art over their manicure, you should quickly know you are meeting a risk taker and a fun personality. Similarly, nail art with strong, bright colours points to a free spirit who does not mind experimenting a bit with her look.

It is worth mentioning that in today's world when nails have become the most important accessory, many women tend to choose a shade regardless of mood; instead, they pick a shade considering the colour of their outfit, which is why nude shades are quite common – you can read more about nude shades HERE.

Due to the demands of different shades, popular brands and manufacturers are now offering interesting nail polish deals. However, you should bear in mind that the colour you choose would express your feelings and let others know about your mood, or the way you feel on a particular day. Here is a bit more about the colours you should change with a change in mood.

• In case you are feeling a bit sad, the best colour to express your mood would be dark blue. You may also opt for grey to show you are not in the mood.

• If something has made you angry and you think you will stay in that mood for some time, try black or aubergine to express your feelings.

• On days when you feel extremely happy, you can always opt for brighter shades. The best choice in this case would be to polish with turquoise or pink – some may also like to choose red to show they are happy, but you should avoid it, as red is associated with love. However, if you are feeling happy because you are in love, do not stop yourself from trying red nail polish – solid white shade is also a good way of showing you are in love.

• On days when you do not understand anything and are in a state of confusion, the best shade would be green or mustard. However, you should change the shades if you are more anxious than confused – the right shade in this case would be beige or sheer white.

Hair Styling Tips for the Average Joe

Hairstyles, when properly chosen and cut, can flatter any woman. The wrong haircut can seriously damage your look. Beautiful and well-managed hair symbolizes the natural beauty and self-management skills of an individual.

For example, thin and lifeless hair can be cut and styled so that it won’t look limp and dull. When it comes to cutting and styling, layering does the trick. Layering hair gives off the illusion that you have a thicker head of hair than you actually do. A healthy diet, good sleeping pattern and a relaxed way of life also contribute to glowing and healthy hair.

Celebrity Styling Tips From the Pros
You can also take the lead with some celebrity styling hair tips. For example, if you suffer from dandruff, you can grind an aspirin to mix into your shampoo once or twice a week. Dandruff shampoos on the market today are well known for stripping away pigments from color treated hair or even dulling out natural colors. The aspirin will get the dandruff out without any side effects on your strands.

You can use baby powder on your roots when you feel that your hair is a little bit on the greasy side. Models and actresses who are in between shampoos have often worked with a stylist that will dust a little bit of baby powder onto their scalp and then blow dry out and style as usual. The baby powder works to absorb a good amount of the excess oil that is on the scalp at the root area.

Deciding on a Haircut
1. Talk with your salon professional about your hair type and the particular cut that will not only work well with the amount of hair that you have to work with, but also with your facial structure.

2. Do your research. Look at magazines for hairstyles that catch your eye. Try out websites that allow you to upload your picture and try different hairstyles and colors.

3. Before you finalize a new hair styling cut, it is important to consider your overall body shape and personality. Remember, the new hairstyle must compliment your looks and body. If it looks good on your face, it would definitely enhance your overall personality.

4. Consider your way of life, but be open to change. You would be surprised how much a hair color change or highlights can change your hairstyle and improve your over-all look.

5. After the hair cut, ask your hairstylist on how to style your hair so that it looks exactly the same as he styled it. Ask for products you can use to help maintain your hairstyle outside of the salon. Keeping a good line of communication open with your stylist will help you to achieve an overall look that you can be happy with.

Laser Hair Removal Pre Treatment Requirements

Laser hair removal is performed to remove unwanted hair from the body. This sort of a unwanted hair is the result of a condition known as hirsutism. Hirsutism can occur because drugs or medical conditions, including polycystic ovaries in women and high blood pressure drugs like minoxidal.

The types of lasers preferred for removing hair are the alexandrite and ruby lasers, that penatrate and destroy the hair follicle, which is the organ responsible for producing hair. Laser hair removal is best for fair-skinned, dark-haired people, because the laser not only destroys the hair follicle but destroys the pigmentation which gives the hair its colour.

The consultant will first take the patient’s medical history. He or she will need to know if the patient is taking any medications and if the patient smokes or drinks. Medications include vitamins and herbal supplements, because sometimes these substances can interfere with the healing process.

It is important to stay out of the sun and avoid tanning salons or even tanning lotions. This period of time might be as long as a month and a half. Having a tan might increase the risk of hypopigmentation or skin lightening. If the patient already has a tan, the treatment might need to wait until the tan fades completely.

The patient should also avoid other means of hair removal including electrolysis, waxing, plucking or anything else that might interfere with the hair follicle. The patient will still be allowed to shave because the follicle is undisturbed. Indeed, some dermatologists recommend that the patient shave before the treatment since shaving might increase the chances of a good outcome.

The length of the treatment depends on how much of the body is being treated. A small area might only need a few minutes to be treated, while a large area like the back might take hours. There might be some swelling after the treatment, but this can be soothed with ice, ointment or cream. Once again, the patient will need to stay out of the sun for a while then use sunscreen whenever he or she goes out into the sun. Most patients are quite pleased with a professionally done laser hair removal.
